Knowledge Management and Evidence Uptake Adviser - MEOR Programme
The Programme

Abt Associates is currently seeking qualified Nepali professionals for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) Nepal Health Sector Programme 3 (NHSP3), Monitoring, Evaluation and Operational Research (MEOR) project. The MEOR project will enable DFID Nepal to continuously improve and adapt its programme to ensure that the NHSP3 and NFPP (Nepal Family Planning Project) intended outcomes and impact are achieved. The overarching objective of DFID's NHSP3 programme is to improve the health of all people with special focus on women, children, the poor and socially excluded in Nepal, including by restoring health services in areas affected by the 2015 earthquake, and improving the quality and governance of health services nationwide.

The Role

The Knowledge Management and Evidence Uptake Adviser is responsible for project knowledge management (KM), documentation of learning from programme monitoring & evaluation (M&E), and research results, and designing and implementing appropriate strategies to facilitate evidence uptake within DFID's NHSP3 and wider health sector in Nepal.

The job holder will be responsible, among other things, of:

Working closely with Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), DFID Nepal and NHSP3 suppliers identify evidence need/gaps to facilitate evidence-based implementation of NHSP3;
